I've neglected this blog for far too long, so I thought it was about time I returned with a new post. I'm currently on a gap year, a totally unplanned, unorganised and adventure lacking gap year. The reason for this is because when I was choosing my universities and my courses my school didn't encourage me to look at more hands on, industry focused courses, or courses that weren't one of my three subjects, or courses that weren't at top class universities. This inevitably meant that by the time results day had reached me I'd had numerous doubts about whether I actually wanted to do the course I'd selected, because I'd only chosen Classics as I liked it most out of my three A Levels. On results day I spent 4 hours on the phone to pull out of the place I had been given and decided to take a year out to find a course that I really wanted to do.
